Let's give this a try...

So, it's a new year and a fresh start, why not try something new? Neither John nor I have ever done anything like this before, but what a great time to start! For those of you who don't know us, here is a little background...

John and I met in high school and got married June 7, 2008 (almost 7 months ago). We bought a house in Alabaster, AL last March and are currently in the process of fixing it up and making it "home". We have an 8 month old boxer puppy named Caly, she is by far our baby and is very, very spoiled!! John works at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama as an Inquiry Analyst, and I am a nurse in the Emergency Room and Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. 

We are just starting our lives together and learning so much along the way. We are hoping to stay in touch with family and friends who are far away (in distance, not spirit!) and keep everyone up to date on the events of our life.
